Alfredo Medina

AMFT # 153037

Hello, I’m Alfredo, a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) therapist who works with Veterans, First Responders, and their families. As a Navy Veteran, I truly understand the unique challenges military members and their loved ones face, especially during deployments and the demands of daily service. With over 25 years of experience in Law Enforcement, I’ve also gained a deep understanding of the pressures and stresses faced by First Responders, including the impact of shift work, complicated investigations, and the emotional toll these experiences can take on both individuals and their families.

In addition to my work with Veterans and First Responders, I am passionate about helping young adults, adults, and multigenerational families. I approach therapy with a compassionate and empathetic mindset, creating an environment where you can feel heard and supported. I blend evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Psychodynamic Therapy to help you work through challenges and create meaningful life changes. My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your concerns and lean into your strengths to build resilience and continue growing.
